FAQ
What can I find in your studio?
In our studio you will find a unique and pleasant space with access to cold and hot drinks, television with Netflix (you can choose to watch your favorite series or simply leave that decision up to us), ambient music, bathroom, game console (for those who need a distraction), air conditioning and above all a team of professionals ready to welcome you with a smile. In Portuguese, Spanish, English or even Turkish, you will find that you will have no difficulty talking about your project.
What should I do before my appointment?
As a rule, we always send a message confirming your appointment and we recommend being well rested and hydrated before your tattoo or piercing session. We also advise that before the session you take a shower and are well fed so that you can have a positive experience during your consultation.
Does a tattoo or piercing hurt? What can influence whether you feel more or less pain?
The truth is that getting a tattoo or piercing always ends up being a moment that includes some pain, yes, but at a very bearable level. The important thing is not to focus on the pain during the session, but to be relaxed and try to enjoy it. To be well rested, having your skin well hydrated and not exposing yourself too much to the sun before the session are factors that will help you to be more comfortable.
What aftercare should I take with my tattoo or piercing?
Aftercare is very easy if you follow the advice that the studio professionals give you. Each procedure has its own care methods and this information is made available after your session to ensure that you know everything about taking care of your new tattoo or piercing. We also provide you with a physical or digital flyer so you won't have any trouble following the right care. You can also find out more here.
How many days after getting my tattoo can I sunbathe and go into the pool?
Up to 15 days after the procedure, you should not use anything on the tattoo other than clean water, antiseptic soap and healing ointment (Aquaphor or Bepanthene). All this because your tattoo is still healing and we don't want you to be exposed to risky elements. Only after this period and around a month you can get direct sun exposure ensuring that you use sunscreen (with the highest protection factor) to protect your tattoo.
What type of jewellery do they use for piercings?
For all of our piercings we use disposable and single-use materials combined with quality jewellery so you can have a beautiful and safe piercing. Therefore, we use ASTM F136 ELI Titanium jewellery, as it is a non-corrosive and non-allergenic metal, which makes the body piercing procedure safer.
What can cause a piercing infection?
Several factors can lead to an infection, but the most common are inadequate hygiene, contact with dirt and bacteria (pillowcase, dust, etc.), exposure to untreated water such as the sea or swimming pool. We must bear in mind that a piercing has a healing period and that not following the necessary care until the end of this period may result in complications in the healing process.
Why don't you usually accept tattoos or piercings appointments on the same day?
We are a private studio and we choose to welcome and offer a personalized quality service to our clients, so we try to avoid getting tattoos or piercings on the same day to ensure you get the best service possible. We want you to feel welcomed and make the right decision for something you will carry with you forever.
